Lesson Registration Overview

Program information for the year has been sent via email to our participant email list. We are getting ready for another fun and exciting snow season. And, as usual, we expect lesson slots to fill up quickly.
- Requests for adaptive ski or snowboard lessons can be emailed to the Program Coordinator beginning Monday, November 10, 2025. Please select 2 preferred dates, and 2 alternate dates (season schedule above). Include in the email: the participant’s name, age, and disability.
- An email will be sent to participants by Friday, December 5, 2025, confirming the date(s) SEWASP was able to schedule your lesson(s). This email will include further details to secure your lesson dates and necessary paperwork to complete. If you do not receive an email by Friday, December 12, 2025, email or call the Program Coordinator. Lesson requests are assigned based on the availability of appropriate equipment and trained volunteers.
- Completed athlete registration forms and payment are due (received by SEWASP) by Friday, December 19, 2025. Lesson fee is $20.00/lesson. All payments (check or money order) must be made payable to “SEWASP.” The confirmation email will provide details of where to send completed paperwork and payment.
- Lesson fees must be pre-paid and are non-refundable.
- SEWASP $20.00/lesson fee includes instruction from trained program volunteers, a lift ticket for the participant with the disability scheduled for the adaptive lesson, and appropriate adaptive equipment (stand-up/rental or sit-ski or snowboard).
- Participants are expected to come to lessons prepared with appropriate winter attire for skiing/snowboarding.
